
This is the 482,402,300th picture of the Pudong Skyline taken from this exact spot. It really is an amazing view though. As a couple of New Yorkers who yawn through Times Square, we're a tough crowd for the giant-neon-overload. That being said, my jaw dropped when I saw this view. That big block of light on the right hand side is a 20 story tall video screen on the side of a building. Here's a better shot:

Chow Yun-Fat rose to stardom in a super popular HK tele-series called The Bund and I always wondered what The Bund was and now I know.
So the Bund is the TV screen?
Oh sorry, I didn't explain that well. The Bund is the waterfront area along the Huangpu river. Theres a lot of people selling little tchockes, like at boardwalks in america, but your really go for the archetecture, which is stunning on both shores. On one side are the massive postmodern marvels, and the other side has a large amount of all kinds of beautiful archetecture, including baroque, romantic, classic, and gothic.
